Affirmations are positive statements that encourage a change in thinking and aid empowerment. These phrases replace negative thought patterns with positive thinking and outlooks of specific situations.
Filling your mind and the space around you with positive thoughts can have major uplifting effects. If you want something, think it.
“What you think you become. What you feel you attract. What you imagine you create.”
Examples of positive affirmations:
I am safe.
I feel peaceful.
I am successful in my endeavors.
i believe in myself.
I am happy and joyful.
I love life and life loves me.
I am right where I need to be.
How to use affirmations
Affirmations are most effective when the phrase is specific, positive, and worded in the present tense (example: USE “I am present in the moment” NOT “I will be present in the moment”).
Get in a habit of repeating them OFTEN! When you say them to yourself or see them everyday the words begin to work their magic and your brain starts thinking in this positive manner.
Create your own affirmations or buy a deck of affirmation cards (view bottom of post for premade affirmation cards). Hang up your affirmations on your mirror or in another place that you will see them everyday. If you are using a deck you can also intuitively choose cards each day or as needed.
These positive and powerful words can uplift and help guide you in the right direction.

Affirmations can be used for any situation that you want to invite more positivity to including:
